The Crew Leader will possess a valid driver's license and be proficient in safe operation of equipment (ride-on lawnmowers, utility tractors, skidsteers, trimmers, gas-powered hand tools) and snow removal equipment (mini-loaders, trackless, plow trucks, snowblowers and hand shovels)

Successful candidates will also possess:

  • A Horticultural Technicians Certificate or equivalent, or be working towards securing these programs
  • A minimum of one-year experience leading a crew of 2-4 people in landscape or property maintenance or equivalent
  • Must have good interpersonal and time management skills
  • Snow removal experience 
  • Ability to operate equipment effectively
  • On-call availability


The Crew Members will assist with the cutting of lawns and maintenance of garden beds, trees and shrubs and perform snow removal tasks.

Successful candiates will also possess:

  • Knowledge and experience with all pieces of maintenance equipment (ride-on lawnmowers, utility tractors, skidsteers, trimmers, gas-powered hand tools)  and snow removal equipment (mini-loaders, trackless, plow trucks, snowblowers and hand shovels)
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Possess 1 to 3 seasons experience in commercial grounds maintenance - including winter maintenance
  • Snow removal experience 
  • On-call availability
