This job included the construction of five online ponds to serve as a new irrigation reservoir source to minimize water-taking from the Little Don River. The banks of the Little Don were reconstructed, including the use of bioengineering, rockwork and the installation of a new water intake structure within the creek (performed under the supervision of the Toronto Conservation Authority). An entirely new irrigation system was also installed as part of the overall water management plan, including transfer pump and associated high-pressure transfer lines to feed the newly constructed reservoirs.
