We are currently recruiting for a Landscape Designer.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare or oversee the preparation of detailed drawings for sites, including features such as trees, shrubs, gardens, lighting, walkways, patios, decks, benches, fences, retaining walls and fountains
• Provide AutoCAD support including preparation and modification of details, drawings and renderings. Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work as required.
• Monitor field work, including contract work, to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications and codes.
• Perform additional assignments and responsibilities as assumed or requested from time to time
Requirements:
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Communication skills (facilitation, listening, verbal, written, presentation)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Expertise in horticulture
• A basic understanding of civil estimating and Project Management software
• Experience and confident with landscape construction methods and materials
• Minimum 1 year of Landscape Design experience
• A post-secondary diploma in Landscape Design, or a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture
