The project comprised of 122,000 sq ft, built out space with siteworks and park-ing, including a single storey 67,000 sq ft industrial space, a three storey offi ce with open and closed work areas, conference rooms, kitchen/servery/lunchroom and innovation space. Collaboration areas, LAN rooms, 3 storey lobby with a reception desk, and other improved shared amenity spaces. Work within the existing industrial space included the installation of two (2) cranes with foundations and the relocation of structural bracing to install ad-ditional overhead doors. This project involved multiple user groups and the relocation of various person-nel during construction. There are 2 other large facilities on the ATS campus and over 1000 employees navigating the campus daily. Traffi c Management plans and signage were key details that are integrated into our procedural project plans. The addition is equipped with controlled access doors and security cameras throughout the site and building to protect proprietary ideas and designs.
